With its floating basins and cone-shaped structure, the eye-catching Aqua Dome Hotel & Spa is both futuristic and fantastical. A combination of luxurious spa facilities and beautiful alpine landscape makes Aqua Dome a great place for a romantic break or a family holiday. As Austria’s largest tourist project to date, Aqua Dome is located in the beautiful Ötztal Valley, surrounded by the Tyrolean Alps and close to tiny Austrian town of Längenfeld. Here, in 1997, a borehole tapped thermal water from a depth of 1,865 m (6,118 ft) for the first time. A subsequent investment of more than 70 million euros put Längenfeld and the whole of Austrian Tyrol on the map of thermal spa tourism in one go. Qatar Airways' Business Class on the Boeing 787-9 is sometimes dubbed the mini Qsuite. The Business Class seat on Qatar Airways' Boeing 787-9 may not be as game-changing as the Qsuite on the Boeing 777 and Airbus A350, but it’s still an excellent and highly enjoyable product. Although Qatar Airways is operating different Business Class seats and layouts throughout its fleet, some thing are (almost) always consistent when flying Business Class with Qatar Airways: excellent food, world-class service, luxurious amenities, and an impressive IFE. Join me on a Business Class flight with Qatar Airways onboard a Boeing 777-200LR from the Seychelles to Doha. This flight review documents the entire Qatar Airways Business Class experience, including the airport lounge, onboard meals, fully lie-flat bed, and amenities. This particular flight was flown by a Boeing 777 with Qatar Airways' old Business Class cabin, with seats in a 2-2-2 layout. Qatar Airways primarily flies Boeing 777 aircraft with this seat layout to the Seychelles, which is mostly visited by couples, families, and friends (who may prefer a configuration with paired seats over Qatar Iarways' famous Qsuite pods). Although still comfortable, this old Business Class product with a 2-2-2 seat configuration is not as good as the 1-2-1 seat arrangement that Qatar Airways installed on its other widebody aircraft (Boeing 787, Boeing 777, Airbus A350, and Airbus A380). That said, I was still impressed by Qatar Airways’ soft Business Class product, including an excellent onboard dinner.
