Symptoms of autonomic nervous system dysfunction, including POTS, commonly occur after traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC). During the conference session, Dr. Chung and team will review the current state of the science, including our ongoing research, regarding ANS dysfunction in persons with TBI, PASC, and other conditions. The team will discuss approaches to evaluation and management of ANS dysfunction in both adult and pediatric populations, highlighting the work of our POTS clinic.
